This is a full-time on-site role for a Website Manager located in Chicago, IL. The Website Manager will be responsible for overseeing website operations, managing content updates, performing analytics reviews, and ensuring optimal website performance. Key tasks include coordinating e-commerce activities, enhancing user experience through web design improvements, and leading website-related projects to meet organizational objectives. The Website Manager will collaborate with internal teams to align the website's functionality and design with the company's goals and branding.
Qualifications- Managing the website's content, including writing new content
- Creating new pages and updating existing pages
- Implementing and maintaining plugins and bespoke code solutions
- Editing and auditing existing content, and removing outdated content.
- Proficiency in Web Analytics and the ability to interpret data to improve website performance
- Experience in Content Management Systems (CMS) and maintaining website content
- Strong Project Management skills for coordinating website-related tasks and ensuring timely delivery
- Must have experience with Word Press
- Knowledge of E-Commerce platforms and understanding of online sales strategy
- Skills in Web Design with a focus on user experience and site aesthetics
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Must understand and be able to implement SEO best practices
- A Digital Content Editor drafts and revises articles, blog posts, and other content for use online.
- Degree in Web Design, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not a must
- Experience in the art world is desirable
- Experience with Blender, After Effects, or any 3D modeling is a plus
- Must have some skills in Photoshop, InDesign, Video Editing, Photo Editing etc.
We are looking for an all around person who can integrate with our team. Must have design skills and a sense of aesthetics as we are an art gallery and need to have our brand properly presented to the world. Our website is our window to our to the world and we need to have someone who has an understanding of the needs of our clients.
And someone who has common sense.
