Web Developer, UI/UX Design
Under the direction of the Director, Member Experience, serves as the primary executor of our digital improvements and builds high quality, cutting‑edge web applications. Our Front‑End Developers architect and develop websites and web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Role combines front‑end development expertise with analytics capabilities to both maintain and enhance AGD's digital properties. This position ensures our website and digital tools receive the consistent and ongoing attention they need to serve our members effectively.
TechnicalSkills
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (vanilla JS and/or frameworks)
- Hands‑on experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
- Experience with CMS platforms (Sitefinity strongly preferred)
- Responsive design and cross‑browser compatibility expertise
- Version control experience (Git)
- Proven track record of maintaining and improving organizational websites
- Experience balancing strategic projects with routine maintenance tasks
- Comfort working with non‑technical stakeholders
- Ability to translate analytics insights into actionable improvements
- Experience with .NET‑based CMS environments
- Familiarity with iMIS or similar Association Management Systems (AMS)
- Association, non‑profit, or membership organization experience
- Knowledge of email template development (HTML email)
- Basic understanding of SEO best practices
- Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Familiarity with Magnet Mail/Higher Logic
- Understanding of page speed and rendering efficiency testing and remediation
- Comfortable with modern build systems and task runners
HS Diploma or equivalent required. Degree in Computer Science or other related field, related certification from a recognized training organization, or relevant professional experience preferred.
Credentials (years of experience)1-3 years of front‑end development experience.
