Overview
Hardware installation & configuration of enterprise servers and cabling infrastructure. Troubleshooting and replacement of FRUs, rack installation, and hand-off to provisioning teams. Communication within a ticketing environment used by multiple Oracle Cloud service owners and teams. Documentation of activities and SOP updates. Structured cabling, labeling, and troubleshooting of fiber/copper/telecom cables. Define, design, and implement network communications and solutions within a fast-paced, leading edge database/applications company.
Responsibilities- Install, remove, and troubleshoot hardware in data center racks without disturbing other hardware or critical infrastructure on site.
- Maintain asset inventory and update internal applications as needed.
- Participate in training aligned with corporate objectives to bridge skill gaps and learn new relevant technologies.
- Act within Service Level Agreements (SLA) on the tickets assigned to you in your space.
- Knowledge of server/storage/network hardware.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- 2+ years working in an IT environment.
- Experience solving problems on servers, networking devices and IT equipment.
- Inventory management experience: ordering, receiving, and shipping server parts.
- Experience taking on-call shifts and ability to respond to critical events as needed.
- Experience raising issues to senior on-site staff and management as needed.
- IT hardware concepts knowledge (RAID, SAN, SCIS, Linux/Unix, GRUB).
- Knowledge of trunk infrastructure is a plus.
- 2-year or 4-year degree or 4+ years of experience.
- 1 year of experience in structured cabling copper/fiber, testing of cables, and cooling and electrical systems concepts inside the data center.
Day Shift – 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts. May include weekends and holidays. Night Shift – 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts. May include weekends and holidays.

Compensation & BenefitsRange information provided in this posting is specific to stated locations. US:
Hiring Range in USD from 32.84 - 67.88 per hour; from 68, per year. May be eligible for equity.
