CEO, Executive Recruiter & Strategic Client Partner @ Staff Great - Legal - Attorneys/Paralegals/Staff, Government & Policy Affairs…Our client, a prominent national law firm, is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to join its Chicago office. This individual will lead digital content strategy, manage the firm’s web and social media presence, and execute multi-channel campaigns that support business development, branding, and recruiting goals. The role includes direct supervision of junior staff and requires collaboration with attorneys, business professionals, and firm leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and distribute compelling digital content (videos, podcasts, email campaigns, bios, practice area summaries).
- Oversee production and post-production of multimedia content, ensuring alignment with firm branding and quality standards.
- Monitor competitor content and recommend enhancements to strengthen the firm's visibility.
Website Management
- Maintain and update the firm website, ensuring content accuracy, functionality, and SEO performance.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with ADA, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements.
- Track website analytics and make recommendations based on performance data.
Social Media & Email Marketing
- Manage firm social media and e-marketing platforms, ensuring consistent brand messaging.
- Create, schedule, and optimize posts for Linked In and other platforms; assist attorneys with Linked In profiles.
- Monitor engagement metrics and manage the firm’s e-marketing reputation score.
Leadership & Team Management
- Supervise and mentor junior marketing team members.
- Serve as an internal advisor on digital best practices, emerging platforms, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate across administrative departments to improve process efficiency and data sharing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, communications, journalism, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in digital marketing, in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), Microsoft Office, and digital platforms (CMS, Sprout, Google Analytics, HTML/CSS).
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
- Strategic thinker with excellent organizational and communication skills.
