Overview
Technical Project Manager (Cloud Migrations focused)
Location: Chicago, IL
Type: Full time/Perm
Note: This hybrid role in Downtown Chicago. Wednesdays are in person day with maybe another day onsite. This will be working CST hours.
ResponsibilitiesThis role will support a number of mid to large scale projects. Ideal candidate will have experience working on Cloud migrations, Data/Analytics or AI focused projects.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of Project Management in a technical field required
- Prior experience working as a Project Manager in a consulting firm highly preferred
- Working knowledge of AWS or other cloud infrastructure technology required, with current/active AWS certifications; or ability to attain one within 60 days
- Data & Analytics or AI project experience preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and methodologies
- Experience in breaking down tasks and delegating work within a technology department
- Demonstrated understanding of cascading impact for technical delays
- Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
- Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
