Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Description

This financial services company is looking for a Senior Dev Ops Engineer to join their Modern Engineering team and serve as a hands‑on technical owner for CI/CD, cloud platforms, security automation, and observability. This engineer will build and support pipelines in Azure Dev Ops and Git Hub, implement security controls, and contribute to the enterprise migration to Git Hub.

They will deploy and operate containerized workloads (Docker/Kubernetes), provision cloud resources using Terraform, and ensure stable environments across AWS and Azure. The role also owns monitoring and observability using Datadog, including proactive alerting and incident support.

Successful candidates are highly technical, strong in pipeline automation, cloud operations, Dev Sec Ops  tooling, Terraform, Kubernetes, and have proven experience improving reliability and security in regulated environments.

• 5+ years of hands‑on Dev Ops or Software Engineering experience
• Strong CI/CD experience with Azure Dev Ops and Git Hub Enterprise
• Experience supporting Azure Dev Ops to Git Hub migrations
• Dev Sec Ops  experience (SAST, SCA, DAST, container scanning, secrets mgmt)
• Cloud engineering experience across AWS and Azure
• Docker + Kubernetes (EKS preferred) operational experience
• Terraform experience (modules, validation, pipeline integration)
• Scripting:
  Bash, Power Shell, Python
• Experience with observability tools (Datadog strongly preferred)
• Strong communication and cross‑team collaboration skills Experience in regulated financial environments
