Position Overview

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Senior Data Quality Analyst.

Position Type:
Full time, Onsite Contract.

Duration: 12+ Months.

Location:

5 days onsite work in a week in either Chicago, IL or Denver, CO.

Source only in Chicago, IL or Denver, CO. This specific role is required to be fulfilled onsite 5 days a week in a client’s facility.

• Lead cross-functional work groups to define, implement, and enforce data quality standards and control frameworks.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert for DQ and data governance, supporting projects, audits, BAU, and adherence to enterprise policies.
• Perform in-depth data profiling, lineage mapping, and analysis across complex data environments.
• Identify, record, and triage DQ incidents; conduct root cause analysis, assess business impact, and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
• Apply core DQ dimensions-accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness, uniqueness, validity-to assess data health across GIS ecosystem.
• Maintain and enhance metadata, data dictionaries, data catalogs, and lineage documentation in support of a robust metadata repository.
• Develop, monitor, and report on DQ metrics and dashboards to track trends and effectiveness of remediation strategies.
• Document and share business rules, control procedures, and operational standards; serve as steward of process documentation.
• Facilitate training, workshops, and stakeholder communications to promote DQ and data governance awareness and best practices.

• 10+ years of professional experience in data quality management.
• 5-10 years of critical thinking/problem-solving roles at an enterprise or division scale.
• 5+ years implementing and measuring data quality controls and metrics.
• Expert in root cause analysis, DQ issue management, and remediation planning.
• Proven ability to work independently and drive initiatives from start to completion.
• Strong communication skills-verbal and written-with the ability to engage and align stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical mindset, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of SQL, DQ tooling, and data visualization tools is a plus.

• Data Profiling Tools, Data Catalog /Data Lineage solutions
• Hands‑on experience with business/technical Metadata, data dictionaries/catalogs, and lineage tools.
• Proficiency in SQL, scripting (Python, R, etc.), BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) and data architecture principles.

Hourly Pay Rate Range*:
Between $46.00/hr - $51.00/hr.

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
