, is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to support its IT Project Management Office (PMO). This role will lead multiple enterprise IT initiatives across infrastructure, security, software, networking, hosting, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity. The ideal candidate has a strong IT background and excels at delivering complex, cross‑functional projects on time and within budget.

This position offers the privilege of some flexibility with a minimum of three days in the office per week. Regular, reliable attendance is expected and required. Additional hours may be required during periods of heavy workload. Flexibility is required in the daily work schedule to accommodate lawyers and general firm requirements.
Position Overview:Our client, one of the largest Law Firms in the World, is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to join our Chicago office. The Senior Project Manager will oversee a variety of IT projects across the IT Organization for the PMO. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality projects on time and within budget, following established processes.
The role involves managing cross‑functional projects related to business operations, application life cycles, networking, hosting, disaster recovery, cybersecurity, and other IT domains. The Senior Project Manager will coordinate with system architects and business stakeholders from various departments, requiring strong project and program management, communication, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will have a solid IT background and will be responsible for managing projects from initiation through completion, ensuring all deliverables are met.
Projects could be anywhere from infrastructure, to security to software related. Project durations may vary, with some lasting one to three months and others extending up to three years. Occasional travel may be required, primarily for infrastructure‑related projects.
Required Qualifications:- Minimum of 7 years of project management experience, 5 of those years focused on IT related projects.
- Experience with various types of enterprise related IT projects to include enterprise software implementations, infrastructure, stand‑alone applications, mobile or web development.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to manage 4–7 projects simultaneously.
- Experience in law firms or top IT/professional services environments preferred.
- Demonstrated experience contributing to process and methodology improvements.
- Demonstrated knowledge and execution of project management practices, tools and methodologies, including an appropriate project management tool (Smartsheet, Asana).
- Experience with transactional systems, particularly in the accounting, finance or human resources functional areas as well as core IT functions.
