RE Partners Consulting is seeking an experienced SAP S/4

HANA Retail Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of large-scale SAP Retail transformations. This role sits at the intersection of business process, enterprise architecture, and modern SAP platforms, helping retail organizations modernize their core systems while driving productivity, scalability, and measurable business outcomes.

You will act as a trusted advisor and hands‑on architect, guiding clients through S/4

HANA Retail adoption, Clean Core strategy, SAP BTP extensibility, and integration across complex retail ecosystems. This role requires strong retail domain expertise, architectural leadership, and the ability to translate business priorities into practical, scalable SAP solutions.

• Own SAP Retail Solution Architecture:
• Design end‑to‑end SAP S/4
  
  HANA Retail architectures across merchandising, pricing & promotions, procurement, inventory, logistics, finance, and supply chain.
• Lead Fit‑to‑Standard & Design Workshops:
• Translate business requirements into SAP‑aligned solutions using S/4
  
  HANA Best Practices while minimizing customization and promoting Clean Core principles.
• Architect Integrated Landscapes:
• Define and govern integrations between SAP S/4
  
  HANA, and external systems including POS, e‑commerce, OMS, vendor portals, 3PLs, and data platforms.
• Drive SAP BTP & Extensibility Strategy:
• Design and guide the use of SAP BTP for extensions, integrations, automation, analytics, and innovation using APIs, events, and cloud‑native services.
• Advise on SAP Business AI use cases relevant to retail (pricing optimization, demand forecasting, supply chain intelligence, process automation) and how they fit into the SAP landscape.
• Provide Delivery & Governance Leadership:
• Ensure architectural consistency across programs, review key design artifacts, and guide teams through SAP Activate delivery phases.
• Partner with Clients & Internal Teams:
• Work closely with client executives, business stakeholders, delivery leads, and RE Partners consultants across geographies

• 7+ years of SAP experience with deep Retail domain expertise.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with SAP S/4
  
  HANA Retail, including at least one full S/4
  
  HANA Retail implementation as Solution Architect or Integration Lead.
• Strong understanding of retail processes including merchandising, pricing & promotions, procurement, inventory management, logistics, and financial integration.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4
  
  HANA architecture, Fiori, RICEFW governance, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP BTP (integration, extensions, automation, analytics).
• Solid understanding of SAP integration technologies (CPI, APIs, IDocs, events).
• Familiarity with SAP Business AI, intelligent automation, and analytics capabilities.
• Experience designing solutions aligned with Clean Core principles.

• Ability to “paint the big picture” and balance business requirements with SAP best practices.
• Strong executive communication skills with the ability to explain complex architectures in business terms.
• Experience leading workshops, design sessions, and architecture governance forums.
• Comfortable operating in agile and hybrid delivery models (SAP Activate).
