The Role

The Senior Director, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement & Facilities serves as the architect and enterprise leader responsible for building CCC’s first fully centralized strategic sourcing and procurement function. This role will lead the transition from a decentralized model to a modern, scalable, value‑generating capability. It offers a rare opportunity to shape how a ~2,000‑employee SaaS company manages spend visibility, data‑driven decision making, RFP and contract governance, and proactive vendor management.

The role also oversees corporate facilities to support a modern, hybrid work environment aligned to the needs of a product and engineering‑focused workforce.

This leader will oversee a team of ~12 (8 full‑time employees and 4 contractors) and will be charged with creating a best‑in‑class function centered on the following key responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Leadership
  • Lead enterprise‑wide strategic sourcing strategy with emphasis on technology, cloud providers, outsourced services, and high‑impact operational vendors.
  • Establish robust RFP governance, competitive bidding, and transparent evaluations.
  • Lead contract lifecycle governance, including templates, workflows, negotiation playbooks, and proactive renewal management.
  • Develop a holistic spend visibility model, including dashboards, analytics, and forecasting.
Vendor & Risk Management
  • Build a disciplined vendor management program emphasizing performance, SLAs, and value delivery.
  • Partner with Legal, Security, IT, Finance, and Product teams to ensure vendors meet data protection, compliance, and scalability requirements.
  • Implement vendor segmentation, business reviews, KPIs, and escalation frameworks, inclusive of periodic financial assessments of vendors.
  • Management of travel and expense policies and processes.
Procurement Operations & Systems
  • Leverage Workday Strategic Sourcing to drive automation, contract visibility, and process efficiency.
  • Establish scalable procurement workflows balancing speed and compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement via automation and digitization.
Facilities & Real Estate Leadership
  • Oversee operations across all corporate locations, ensuring modern, safe, efficient work spaces.
  • Lead occupancy planning, hybrid‑work setups, space optimization, and office technology upgrades.
  • Manage real estate strategy, including lease negotiations, expansions, and consolidations.
  • Own facility emergency response and business continuity readiness.
Team Leadership
  • Develop a high‑performing procurement and facilities organization.
  • Establish KPIs tied to sourcing impact, spend optimization, contract compliance, and vendor performance.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
  • 12+ years of sourcing, procurement, or facilities leadership experience in SaaS or technology.
  • Deep experience in negotiating technology, SaaS, and cloud vendor agreements.
  • Strong proficiency with procurement systems (Workday Strategic Sourcing preferred).
  • Proven success leading cross‑functional initiatives in fast‑paced environments.
  • Excellent negotiation, vendor management, analytical, and executive communication skills.
  • Experience in designing and scaling a centralized Strategic Sourcing and Procurement function is preferred.
