Join Taft's innovative eDiscovery Services team as an eDiscovery Services Expert! We are looking for a dedicated professional with 5 to 8 years of eDiscovery experience to support our commitment to exceptional service under our 'Client First' philosophy. This position supports our Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, Denver, Detroit, Indianapolis, or Minneapolis offices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee electronic case databases using Relativity One.
  • Examine electronic data sets for content, organization, and volume, ensuring optimal handling and storage of client data.
  • Efficiently process and load data according to specific case instructions from the Taft Discovery Group.
  • Produce and distribute data in line with best practices, following established workflows and case directives.
  • Conduct thorough quality control and verification of all tasks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Leverage Relativity One analytics, advanced functionalities, artificial intelligence, and scripting for project tasks.
  • Advise on suitable analytics tools tailored to meet client needs effectively.
  • Maintain detailed records of actions and data tracking through the Analyst tracking application.
  • Participate in tasks such as data media duplication, auditing, imaging, and spreadsheet manipulation.
  • Support colleagues in utilizing end-user functionalities throughout all eDiscovery phases.
  • Collaborate with project managers and eDiscovery attorneys to ensure timely task completion.
  • Ensure data security is prioritized through its entire lifecycle, adhering to firm policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency with Relativity One.
  • Experience using Relativity One analytics and advanced functionalities.
  • Skilled in applying Relativity One scripts to enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) standards.
  • Understanding of principles established by the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS).
  • Strong analytical thinking, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and perform under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required to meet client deadlines.
  • Demonstrated willingness to work beyond 40 hours per week as needed.
  • Strong team collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented approach with dedication to thoroughness in all tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with colleagues and clients.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of five to eight years of experience in litigation support utilizing Relativity within a law firm or e-discovery service provider environment.
