Job Description & How to Apply Below

About The Role

We are seeking a Data Analyst to join the Business Intelligence group. This role will have a strong focus on Compliance and will be critical in ensuring that regulatory reporting is delivered accurately, on time, and aligned with compliance standards.

This is a hands‑on data role with a strong emphasis on precision, regulatory alignment, and cross‑functional communication. You will serve as the connective tissue between Compliance, BI, and Data Engineering—translating regulatory requirements into structured, repeatable reporting outputs. While regulatory reporting is the primary mandate, this role is fully integrated into the BI team and will also support broader commercial data initiatives, automation and ad‑hoc analysis as capacity allows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Report Management:
Own the end‑to‑end preparation and delivery of recurring compliance reports, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory accuracy, timeliness, and documentation standards.
  • Requirements Translation:
Serve as the primary technical liaison to Legal and Compliance teams, translating their regulatory definitions into precise internal data tags, labels, and SQL logic.
  • Process Automation:
Design and build automated workflows to standardize compliance reporting, moving away from manual interventions to repeatable, code‑based solutions (Python/R/SQL).
  • Data Alignment:
Partner with BI and Data Engineering teams to ensure data warehousing structures and schemas support current and future compliance use cases.
  • Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive, audit‑ready documentation of reporting logic, definitions, and regulatory mappings.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
Translate technical reporting constraints and data nuances into clear, accessible language for non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance:
Implement and maintain robust data quality checks specific to compliance reporting to ensure consistency and traceability.
  • Generalist Support:
Assist the broader Business Intelligence team with commercial reporting projects and data analysis during non‑peak compliance cycles.
Qualifications
  • Experience:

3 years of experience in data analytics, compliance reporting, or regulatory operations.
  • Technical Prerequisites:
Strong technical proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting language (R or Python) is required. You must be comfortable querying, transforming, and validating large datasets without reliance on GUI‑based tools.
  • Attention to Detail:
Proven ability to work with high‑stakes data where precision is mandatory. You must be able to methodically investigate data discrepancies and drive them to resolution through independent research.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Partnership:
You must be an excellent communicator, able to fully manage relationships with internal partners. This requires proactively communicating technical options and blockers, and working collaboratively with Legal and Compliance teams to define solutions that are both technically feasible and regulatory compliant.
  • Process Mindset:
Experience building, documenting, and optimizing repeatable reporting processes.
Nice to Have
  • Experience designing data tagging and labeling frameworks for regulatory or audit use, especially using LLMs.
  • Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements specifically within financial services or asset management.
  • Exposure to international financial regulatory frameworks.
