Implementation Manager

Cohesion is a smart building technology company offering a suite of software products, AI solutions, and advisory services that integrates people, systems, and spaces for real estate, providing seamless solutions for modernized security access control, smart maintenance, enhanced people experiences, and energy management.

The Implementation Manager is responsible for delivering successful client implementations from post-signature kickoff through go-live and stabilization. This role owns delivery execution, timelines, dependencies, and cross-functional coordination to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality. You will work closely with internal delivery teams and external stakeholders to plan, execute, and drive implementation outcomes across a portfolio of client projects.

This is a fast-paced, execution-heavy role that requires strong judgment, clear communication, and the ability to manage ambiguity across multiple work streams.

• Lead client and internal implementation meetings from kickoff through go live
• Define success criteria for go-live and manage the end-to-end delivery plan through launch and post-go-live stabilization
• Project governance and execution
• Build and maintain detailed project plans, milestone schedules, delivery forecasts, and implementation documentation
• Track decisions, changes, risks, and dependencies throughout the implementation lifecycle
• Run delivery cadences including internal standups, customer working sessions, status updates, and steering checkpoints focused on delivery progress
• Coordinate internal delivery work streams including Implementation or Field teams, Integrations, Engineering, Product, Support, and Data as needed
• Identify resource needs, constraints, risks, and dependencies and escalate issues that impact delivery timelines or quality
• Act as the central point of coordination to unblock teams and maintain momentum
• Facilitate intake and validation of implementation requirements needed for configuration and deployment, including site details, access requirements, workflows, roles, and integration prerequisites
• Manage implementation-phase integration work streams, including coordination with third-party vendors
• Track vendor timelines and oversee required security or compliance steps for deployment, testing, and cutover
• Coordinate test planning for user acceptance testing
• Manage readiness checkpoints, training requirements for launch, and go-live approval processes
• Lead go-live readiness reviews, cutover planning and execution, contingency planning, and coordination with operational stakeholders
• Track issue resolution through stabilization and ensure clear communication to stakeholders
• Use  as the primary project management tool to provide implementation status reporting and launch or stabilization summaries

• 5+ years of experience in implementation or technical project management, delivery management, consulting, or a related client-facing execution role
• Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional implementations through go-live
• Strong project planning, organizational, and execution skills
• Experience coordinating technical and non-technical teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage senior stakeholders
• High attention to detail with strong risk and issue management instincts
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with shifting priorities
• Experience using project management tools such as , Asana, Jira, or similar

• Experience working in smart building technology, proptech, enterprise SaaS, or systems integration environments
• Experience managing integrations, access control systems, or IoT-related deployments
• Experience coordinating third-party vendors during implementation
• Familiarity with security, compliance, or access control concepts
