Auriai is looking to hire a Helpdesk System Administrator to support the C2

BMC program. This role is ON‑SITE in Colorado Springs, CO.

The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2

BMC) program is a vital part of the Missile Defense System. It is a key operational system that enables the U.S. president, the secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to plan ballistic missile defense operations systematically, monitor the battle collectively, and dynamically control networked sensors and weapon systems to achieve global and regional mission objectives.

C2

BMC supports layered missile defense capabilities that enable an optimized response to threats across all ranges during all flight phases. It functions as a force multiplier by networking, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations, both globally and regionally, to boost performance. C2

BMC is essential for all ground and flight tests that verify and demonstrate current and future missile defense system capabilities.

We are seeking a detail‑oriented, highly motivated Help Desk System Administrator to join our team in Colorado Springs. This role focuses on providing help desk support to C2

BMC Global customers by troubleshooting and resolving a wide range of technical issues on both Linux and Windows systems.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO
  • Configuring and managing Linux and Windows Operating systems, including:
  • Implementing operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance
  • Installing software
  • Applying and enforcing security policies using Windows Group Policy and automation tools such as Ansible and Power Shel
    l
  • Deploying and maintaining virtual machines in a complex, hyperconverged environment
WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES
  • Mission‑Driven Professional:
    Collaborative contributor motivated by the opportunity to develop cutting‑edge solutions that protect and serve both the nation and the world.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university is preferred, along with 2 years of experience; or a Master’s degree in a related field with 1 year of relevant work experience; or 6 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree.
  • Applicants must have a current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+ CE, CCNA‑Security, CySA+, CND, CISSP, CASP, etc.) at the time of application, which is required to start. The candidate is responsible for maintaining their DoD 8140 certification throughout the entire contract period.
  • Applicants must have a current, active in‑scope DoD‑issued Top Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start with the eligibility to be cleared at TS/SCI.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% for business needs.
  • Experience with system administration on both Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues via phone, IM/Chat, and other collaborative methods.
  • Familiarity with a scripting language, such as:
  • Power Shell
    , Bash
    , or Python
    , and/or automation tools, such as Ansible
    .
  • Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS
  • A current, active in‑scope DoD‑issued Top Secret/SCI security clearance at the time of application is highly preferred.
  • Experience with a help desk ticketing system, such as Service Now
    , Remedy
    , or Atlassian JIRA
