As a Lead Date Engineer, you will be focused on writing code and assembling large, complex sets of data using various technologies. You will be a part of the data processing team, focused on code optimization, in addition to other day‑to‑day responsibilities.

• Develop and implement a set of techniques or analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data‑oriented programming languages and visualization software
• Serve as coding and technical data engineering expert
• Drive agile‑based execution of data engineering deliverables
• Design, develop, validate, implement, maintain, monitor, document, and own end‑to‑end data engineering solutions
• Automate collection, persistence, processing, and reporting of data from internal and external platforms and data sources
• Develop and own API integrations to various external platforms towards getting data daily
• Work across cloud platforms, including GCP, AWS, and Azure and associated services
• Drive with a sense of urgency to meet internal and external stakeholders’ expectations and timelines
• Follow and enhance data engineering best practices
• Orchestrate a complex ask or requirement into logical set of deliverables
• Pioneer data accuracy and optimizing data engineering pipelines, including code, queries, schema, processes, and infrastructure usage
• Collaborate, communicate, and present across teams and meet organizational goals
• Guide and supervise products and processes developed by senior and junior data engineers

Requirements:

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 6‑10+ years of Data Engineering experience or experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained. Practical and deeper experience working on the below tech stack or areas is required.

Compensation Range: $110,580-$151,300 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.

Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third‑party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
