SAP ABAP Development Lead Security

Whitehall Resources are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Development Lead with Security expertise to support and enhance a complex SAP S/4

HANA Private Cloud environment. This role will lead custom development, integrations, and security governance, ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant SAP solutions across the enterprise.

• Lead SAP development using ABAP, ABAP RAP, and OO ABAP
• Develop and support Fiori/UI5 applications, CDS Views, and OData services
• Deliver WRICEF objects, enhancements, reports, and integrations
• Support system upgrades, migrations, and performance optimisation

• Integrate SAP with external systems using SAP CPI, APIs, IDOCs, BAPIs, and RFCs
• Collaborate with functional teams across FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, and QM

• Design and manage role-based access control (RBAC)
• Ensure compliance with GRC, SOX, and GDPR
• Support audits, authorization design, and Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls

• 8+ years of SAP ABAP development (S/4
  
  HANA or ECC)
• 3+ years in a technical lead or senior role
• Strong expertise in:
• ABAP, Fiori/UI5, CDS Views, OData
• SAP CPI integrations
• SAP Security, authorizations, and RBAC
• Experience with full life‑cycle implementations and enterprise SAP environments

• Experience with SAP BTP and S/4
