Position: Oliver Wyman- Private Capital/Industrials Engagement Manager

Overview

Oliver Wyman’s Private Equity team in North America is looking to hire consultants to support its rapid growth. The team works with private equity investors throughout the deal transaction lifecycle: from opportunity identification through due diligence and post‑transaction value realization.

    Senior Consultant, Associate, Engagement Manager

Base salary range: $135,000 - $240,000. Performance‑based incentives may be available.

Responsibilities

Senior Consultants: Execute work streams from start to finish, including structuring and solving problems, synthesizing insights, and planning. Provide research and analysis plans, direct junior consultants, and become the client go‑to person.

Associates: Break down complex problems into tasks, direct junior consultants, plan and execute analysis, manage small teams, and deliver recommendations.

Engagement Managers: Lead day‑to‑day project delivery, execute due diligence and post‑transaction engagements, ensure insightful, data‑driven findings, demonstrate thought leadership and handle client relationships.

Qualifications
  • Professional experience with commercial due diligence in a consulting firm.
  • Industrial experience within Private Equity.
  • Knowledge of customer research techniques.
  • Strong strategic problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Undergraduate or advanced degree from a strong program.
  • Proactive initiative and learning mindset.
  • Creativity and novel idea generation.
  • Analytical aptitude for large data sets.
  • Ability to work fluidly and respectfully with a talented team.
