Summary
EDI is essential for accurate, efficient order processing and supply chain management. We are searching for an EDI professional to lead improvements to our current architecture as well as guide the EDI team in onboarding new customers. We are using SAP S/4
HANA software to operate the business and leverage IBM Sterling B2B SaaS EDI data integration services. We have a small internal technical team complimented by third‑party support partners, so hands‑on experience is required.
- Integration Management:
Own various EDI integrations with approximately 60 retail customers, vendors, and third‑party logistics (3PL) providers. - Development:
Work with IBM to develop and modify EDI and API interfaces to meet evolving requirements, focusing on reliability and efficient monitoring. - Collaboration:
Work with internal teams and external partners to understand and support integration needs. - Issue Resolution:
Consult with IT personnel and the SAP AMS team to diagnose and resolve system, job, or integration issues. - Change Management:
Follow industry‑standard change processes, including testing and validation. - Documentation:
Maintain system documentation when changes are made.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
- SAP training and certifications (preferred).
- At least 5 years of experience supporting EDI transactions with retail customers.
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4
HANA and SAP IDocs. - Expert knowledge of EDI with retail sales and 3PL transactions.
- Experience using EDI data integration providers such as IBM Sterling, SPS Commerce, Rithum, etc.
- Experience working with 3PL providers and their associated EDI requirements.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to convey technical information to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Strong logical and analytical thinker.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to occasionally work evenings and weekends as needed.
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
Note:
Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce’s sole discretion until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law. This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.
