Overview
We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. This role is responsible for owning requirements end-to-end, translating business needs into clear technical documentation, and ensuring solutions are well-defined, feasible, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Own and manage business and technical requirements throughout the project lifecycle
- Elicit, analyze, and document requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process reviews
- Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications (e.g., BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria)
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, including data flows, process flows, system interactions, and integration requirements
- Collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, QA, and product teams to ensure shared understanding of requirements
- Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies as needed
- Validate solutions through reviews, walkthroughs, and user acceptance testing (UAT) support
- Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies, and proactively communicate impacts to stakeholders
- Ensure requirements traceability and alignment with business goals
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role
- Strong requirements ownership experience, from discovery through delivery
- Solid technical writing skills with the ability to clearly document complex systems and workflows
- Experience working with technical teams (engineering, data, integrations, APIs, etc.)
- Familiarity with SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure Dev Ops, or similar
- Background working on software, data, or integration-heavy projects
- Understanding of system architecture, data models, and APIs
- Prior experience supporting QA and UAT activities
