Overview

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. This role is responsible for owning requirements end-to-end, translating business needs into clear technical documentation, and ensuring solutions are well-defined, feasible, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage business and technical requirements throughout the project lifecycle
  • Elicit, analyze, and document requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process reviews
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications (e.g., BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria)
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation, including data flows, process flows, system interactions, and integration requirements
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, QA, and product teams to ensure shared understanding of requirements
  • Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies as needed
  • Validate solutions through reviews, walkthroughs, and user acceptance testing (UAT) support
  • Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies, and proactively communicate impacts to stakeholders
  • Ensure requirements traceability and alignment with business goals
Required

Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role
  • Strong requirements ownership experience, from discovery through delivery
  • Solid technical writing skills with the ability to clearly document complex systems and workflows
  • Experience working with technical teams (engineering, data, integrations, APIs, etc.)
  • Familiarity with SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure Dev Ops, or similar
  • Background working on software, data, or integration-heavy projects
  • Understanding of system architecture, data models, and APIs
  • Prior experience supporting QA and UAT activities
