As an Associate Package Consultant at IBM, you will help to assist clients in the selection, implementation, and production support of application packaged solutions, such as SAP, Oracle, or Salesforce, to meet client needs. Leveraging a growth mindset, you're ready and willing to deliver business value, wherever needed. In your role, you may be responsible for:
- Assist clients in selection, implementation, and support of packaged software solutions.
- Make strategic recommendations and leverage business knowledge to drive solutions for clients and their management.
- Facilitate or support workshops, meetings, and stakeholder interviews.
- Develop process maps to understand As‑Is and To‑Be scenarios.
Use IBM's Design Thinking to help solve client's challenges.

Bachelor's Degree.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise- Ability to translate business solutions into technical requirements.
- Openness to assist clients in the design, business architect, process development, functional implementation, and support of applications.
- Ability to thrive in an ever changing, technology‑based Consulting environment.
- A passion for innovative ideas, coupled with the ability to understand and assimilate different points of view.
- Exceptional quantitative analysis skills and ability to derive recommendations informed by data and insights.
- Exposure to enterprise SaaS platforms (e.g., Salesforce or similar CRM/ERP systems) through coursework, internships, or project experience, with an understanding of configuration versus customization tradeoffs.
- Ability to support client‑facing activities such as workshops, stakeholder interviews, and working sessions, synthesizing inputs into clear outcomes and next steps.
- Ability to translate business problems and objectives into clearly defined functional and technical requirements, particularly in the context of packaged SaaS solutions.
- Experience applying structured problem‑solving approaches (e.g., case analysis, design thinking, consulting frameworks) to ambiguous business challenges.
- Passion for learning, collaboration, and incorporating diverse perspectives into client solutions.
- Foundational data literacy, including the ability to analyze structured datasets (e.g., CRM data, CSVs, dashboards), reason about data quality, and interpret basic KPIs and metrics.
- Willingness to travel up to 100%, based on project requirements.
- Assist clients in selection, implementation, and support of packaged software solutions.
- Leverage business knowledge to drive solutions for clients and their management.
- Drive to overcome the most challenging or difficult obstacles and look for ways to improve results.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines, while maintaining focus in an environment with conflicting demands.
