Quality Assurance Lead - Financial Services Office - Manager - Multiple Positions - 1685460, Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Chicago, IL.

Assist large domestic and global financial institutions, broker-dealers, foreign banking organizations, asset management firms and insurance companies with IT Quality Transformation & Application Test Delivery challenges. Execute software system testing (manual and automatic testing). Manage testing efforts within large transformation teams and programs. Work with clients to drive transformational change in the way they deliver application testing services in their organizations.

Define the test strategy, planning, and implementing quality assurance for large complex projects. Guide team members with a goal of fostering an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment. Share knowledge and develop engagement tools and enablers to build capability for the practice. Evaluate and report on the quality assurance and testing process, make recommendations to improve software / systems / solution / product design based on quality testing results.

Provide expertise and make recommendations on test automation methodologies and relevant supporting processes, including documentation requirements.

Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Management Information Systems, Finance, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Management Information Systems, Finance, or a related field and 4 years of work experience.

Must have 4 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing, including at least 3 years managing testing teams.

Must have 1 year of experience in identifying, building, and managing, executive level relationships.

Must have 2 years of experience participating in the design and development of the test automation frameworks.

Must have 3 years of testing experience within the Financial services industry in one or combination of any of the following:
Capital Markets, Wealth and Investment Management, Banking, Mortgage, Finance Risk and Compliance, and/or Insurance.

Must have 3 years of technical competency experience with one or a combination of any of the following:

* Test Strategy & Operating Model Development,

* Testing Center of Excellence and/or IT Transformation Program Management,

* Test Automation Framework Architecture,

* Agile Test Management,

* User Acceptance Test Coordination,

* IT Organizational Change Management,

* Performance Testing Program Management,

* Customer Relationship Management,

* Enterprise Resource Planning,

* Enterprise Data Management,

* IT Life cycle Management

* IT Delivery Management, and/or

* Executive Reporting.

Must have 2 years of test program or project management experience, including scope, timing, resource allocation and performance.

Must have 4 years of experience with test management tools including with one or a combination of the following: JIRA and/or HP ALM.

Requires travel up to 80%, of which 10% may be international, to serve client needs.
