Business Analyst - Payroll & Time and Attendance, location is Hybrid (Chicago, IL). The start date is ASAP (within 2 weeks) for this permanent position.

Compensation Range: $78,870 - $103,191 annually
Job Description:
The Business Analyst will serve as the subject matter expert for payroll and time & attendance systems, driving optimization, compliance, and integrations across North American operations.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Act as SME for ADP payroll products and ADP Workforce Manager.
- Support payroll and time tracking operations across U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
- Gather and document business requirements for system enhancements and integrations.
- Lead and support integrations between ADP, HCM systems, reporting tools, and finance platforms.
- Troubleshoot payroll and workforce management system issues.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local labor laws.
- Partner cross-functionally with HR, Finance, IT, and Analytics teams.
- Support reporting efforts using Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
- Drive system upgrades, testing, and process improvements.
- Must-Haves:
- 3 years of Business Analyst experience in payroll, HRIS, or time & attendance systems.
- Hands-on experience with ADP payroll products and ADP Workforce Manager.
- Strong understanding of payroll compliance across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
- Experience integrating ADP with HCM or other enterprise systems.
- Knowledge of time-enabled systems (time clocks, shifts, overtime).
- Proficiency in Excel and SQL; experience supporting reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into functional solutions.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-starter who can work autonomously and drive decisions.
- Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with workforce scheduling and labor tracking in manufacturing.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud HCM or similar HRIS platforms.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Project management experience (PMP, Agile, etc.).
