Overview
Consulting Partner - Life Sciences & Med Devices at Wipro Consulting. Wipro is scaling its Life Sciences & Medical Devices consulting business as AI-driven drug discovery, personalized medicine, and geo-political supply-chain shocks converge. Reporting to the Americas Managing Partner for Life Sciences, you will own C-suite relationships across global biopharma, biotech scale-ups, and Med Tech majors, originating board-room advisory work that converts into large-scale technology and BPO programs.

- Strategy pedigree: 15+ years in top-tier strategy or Big-4 advisory, incl. 7+ yrs life-sciences / Med Tech leadership
- Client Obsession: Builds trust-based CXO networks across pharma R&D, clinical, quality, and Med Tech business units; anticipates needs and turns insight into business impact and tangible opportunities
- Commercial track record: Personally sold & led $100 M+ cumulative advisory revenue, fluent negotiating at the executive level
- Domain mastery: End-to-end command of drug/device lifecycle discovery to post-market surveillance and global regulatory landscapes (FDA, EMA, PMDA)
- Transformation gravitas: Oversaw multi-tower programs touching 50+ assets or 100+ manufacturing lines and $1 B+ spend
- Inclusive leader: Proven sponsor of DEI initiatives, builds psychologically safe, high-performing teams across markets
- Tech Fluency: Conversant in cloud, GenAI, digital twins, cybersecurity, and GxP digital-thread fundamental
- Originate growth: Identify whitespace, craft C-suite narratives, and close $10 M+ advisory bookings annually, anchoring $100 M+ tech/BPO follow-ons
- Advise C-suites: Act as trusted voice on AI-augmented R&D, digital trials, smart factories, and product-as-a-service commercialization to translate vision into funded roadmaps
- Steer transformations: Govern multi-tower programs (PLM modernization, eTMF digitization, connected-device roll-out, GenAI regulatory automation) ensuring benefits realization and CSAT > 4.8/5
- Create IP and ventures: Incubate differentiating benchmarks, twin platforms, and data products; spin out solution ventures with independent growth targets
- Amplify leadership: Publish 3-4 flagship POVs per year, keynote major forums, and secure analyst citations that elevate Wipro’s brand
- Develop talent: Recruit, mentor, and sponsor a diverse cadre of junior partners / senior managers, embed a psychologically safe, high-performance culture
- Forge alliances: Build strategic partnerships with CROs, CDMOs, cloud/hyperscaler labs, and regulators to co-create market offerings
- Own the P&L: Manage full consulting P&L for assigned accounts, drive forecast accuracy, safeguard margins, reinvest in growth accelerators
- Govern practice: Shape investment roadmaps, prioritize solution backlog, and propagate agile ways-of-working across a global delivery footprint
Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $190,000 to $265,000. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), and other leave options.
