Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Workday Grants Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing and configuring the Workday Grants Management module, along with a deep understanding of financial systems and grants management processes. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure successful deployment and adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead or assist in the implementation of Workday Grants Management, including requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, and deployment.

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes, financial workflows, and grants management lifecycle.

• Provide expert guidance on Workday capabilities and best practices.

• Develop and execute detailed project plans and timelines.

• Configure Workday Grants Management to align with client needs, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.

• Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users and stakeholders.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during and after implementation.

• Support post-go-live operations and provide ongoing system enhancements.

• Document business requirements, functional specifications, and user guides.

  Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience with Workday Financials, specifically Workday Grants Management.

  • Strong understanding of grants management lifecycle, fund management, and financial reporting.

  • Experience with Workday implementation projects or as a Workday functional consultant.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Workday certification in Financials or Grants Management (preferred).

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience working in higher education, nonprofit organizations, or research institutions.

    • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).

    • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
