Senior Data​/AI Project Manager

Job Description

These Senior Project Managers will be AI and Data focused, working on a project that focuses on using LLMs (GenAI) to analyze hotel performance data. In this role, they need a PM who is excellent in connecting dots with technical teams, following up on commitments, someone who is a driver, pushes to get things done. Does not just identify a blocker but comes up with a solution.

This project entails:

Team is very technical, agile demanding, and need a PM on that same level who can work in a very fast paced environment. They will run daily scrum session and not just create tickets in Jira but drive activities.

This project is designed to:

• Synthesize metrics across a hotel (e.g., bookings, trends, KPIs)
• Identify underlying drivers of performance changes (e.g., why bookings are trending down)
• Recommend actions/tasks to hotel general managers
• Support data-driven decision-making at the property level

Example use cases mentioned:

• Detecting booking declines and diagnosing root causes
• Recommending actions (e.g., targeting corporate customers, improving retention/length of stay)
• Leveraging historical + real-time data to improve performance

• 7+ years of project management
• AI related projects including:
  Snowflake, AWS, GCP, Google AI
• Understanding of how data is being processed in the Cloud, understand how to get data from Snowflake, the whole process all the way to the end user (basic knowledge)
• Someone who truly understands the technology to be able to support cross functional teams and understand duration of project and timelines and technology dependencies
• Someone who can handle ownership and responsibility well, handle outcome end to end, does not delegate but handles issues themselves and creates accountability from the team without being asked twice, driving execution
• Connect the dots from engineering team, AI team, product, data analytics team, financial team
• Understand and explain dependencies and risks from multiple work streams, forecast issues, being proactive
• Someone who can run sprint ceremonies and be extremely effective in meetings
• How have you used AI when having licenses in the past? Fluent in using copilot and Chat GPT Local to Chicago
• Hospitality experience
