RoleSummary
Support Engineer, Sr. Associate for the Portfolio Accounting and Data Services (PADS) team. Provide Levels 1‑3 support for core data processing and servicing platforms and support teams developing data products.
Responsibilities- Level 1 Support: respond to basic queries, troubleshoot, log issues, and document escalations.
- Level 2 Support: investigate complex issues, collaborate with engineering to identify root causes and solutions, and propose platform enhancements.
- Level 3 Support: guide and troubleshoot data product teams, ensure integration, develop scripts/tools, and recommend best practices.
- Documentation & Training: maintain support documentation and conduct training sessions for users and developers.
- Monitoring & Reporting: oversee system health, performance, and security; produce regular reports detailing support activities and improvement opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- Minimum five years of technical support experience.
- Understanding of cloud architecture and design principles.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and problem‑solving.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic skills in Terraform, Kubernetes, Azure, Git Hub, and Snowflake.
- Development experience in Java and Python.
- Experience in a Dev Ops role using Azure Dev Ops.
- Familiarity with current data tools and platforms.
$88,900 – 151,100 USD. Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay.
