• Provide AWS customers with deep technical expertise and strategic guidance to effectively use AWS Database Services.
• Collaborate with specialist sales, marketing, and product teams to develop innovative solutions for customers.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers' executives.
• Lead architectural reviews and workshops focused on common use cases and industry best practices.
• Design and architect complex database solutions based on relational or non‑relational technologies.
• Champion industry best practices through technical thought leadership content.
• Present at key industry events including AWS re:
  
  Invent and AWS Summit.
• Educate customers on the AWS value proposition for data management.
• Provide feedback to AWS product teams on customer requirements and serve as point of contact for urgent technical issues.
• Stay current with emerging trends in database, analytics, and generative AI technologies.
• Travel approximately 25% within the US to support customer and stakeholder needs.

• 8+ years of experience in technology domain areas such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
• Experience communicating across technical and non‑technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders.
• 10+ years of database experience (SQL, No
  
  SQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis) or a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience.
• Experience working with end‑user or developer communities.
• Experience in a technical role within a sales organization.
• Experience architecting or operating solutions built on AWS.
