Azure Security Lead

Job Description

Azure Security Engineer responsible for designing and implementing Azure Landing Zone Security, building and deploying IaC modules, and maintaining security guardrails across our cloud environment.

• Design Azure Landing Zone Security architecture.
• Lead security strategy for Azure native resources.
• Build and deploy Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) modules using Terraform, Bicep, and similar tools for provisioning, managing, and monitoring security of resources/landing zones.
• Develop and enforce Security, Governance and Compliance guardrails using Policy-as-Code.
• Operate Cloud Security Posture Management tools, including Microsoft Defender, Palo Alto Prisma Cloud, Dev Sec Ops  tools, and network/web application firewalls.
• Manage CNAPP/CWPP tools, Azure Entra , container security, Next Gen network firewalls, encryption key management, and secrets management.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and ensure compliance with industry best practices and Azure security reference architecture.

• 8+ years of experience in Azure native security.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience building IaC modules with Terraform, Bicep, etc.
• 4+ years of experience deploying security, governance, and compliance guardrails in cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security posture management tools, CNAPP/CWPP, Azure Entra , and related security technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Certifications in Azure Security highly desirable.
• Experience with Palo Alto Next‑gen firewalls, Qualys VMDR, Crowd Strike, and similar tools.
