We are currently looking to fill a Business Intelligence Analyst hybrid role located out of our Headquarters at 101 N. Wacker Dr. Chicago, IL 60606.
Salary- Average starting salary: $70,000 – $80,000 annually based on skill and experience.
- $2,500 sign-on bonus for first‑time employees with MFS ($1,250 on first paycheck and $1,250 after 6 months).
- Understand unique reporting needs of requestors and provide expert knowledge, understanding, and assistance with data deliverables.
- Communicate effectively with end users, program and quality leadership, and domain experts to deliver reporting solutions.
- Provide guidance on new report requests and migration of existing reports.
- Apply data quality concepts, including data validation, completeness, and reconciliation.
- Work with large, complex datasets from multiple sources (e.g., EHR, data warehouse).
- Translate business and clinical requirements into reporting and data visualization solutions.
- Maintain and expand technical domain knowledge related to reporting infrastructure; conduct requirement analysis and documentation.
- Provide second‑level support to end‑users, including troubleshooting data discrepancies and reporting issues.
- Partner with analytics, CQI, and program teams to ensure solutions align with clinical workflows, quality measures, and operational needs.
- Support development and maintenance of reporting pipelines for healthcare quality and regulatory reporting (e.g., CCBHC, state reporting).
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data within reporting environments through validation and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with data warehouse and IT teams to support data integration across systems (e.g., EHR, external data sources).
- Document data sources, transformations, and report logic to support transparency and consistency.
- Lead small to medium cross‑functional projects; conduct meetings and guide work groups.
- Evaluate, research, and recommend reporting tools, data models, and processes to improve data accessibility and decision‑making.

- Quickly acquire domain knowledge and understand data limitations of the Data Warehouse team.
- Translate requirements and collaborate with the Data Warehouse team in an iterative process.
- Partner with key stakeholders to perform root‑cause data analyses and remediation efforts.
- Communicate effectively with report requestors, writers, and analysts to deliver solutions.
- Provide guidance on new report requests and migration of existing reports.
- Handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously.
- Create specifications, use cases, and documentation for reporting requests.
- Self‑motivated and proactive with strong ownership; execute plans without daily oversight.
- Work across multiple teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Organized, prioritize, and balance tasks in a fast‑paced, regulatory environment.
- Decompose complex issues, drive timely decisions, engage others when necessary.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; simplify and summarize complex topics.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or related field (required).
- Experience working with relational databases and SQL (required).
- 3+ years as Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role (required).
- Understanding of relational data structures and basic data modeling concepts (required).
- Experience developing reports or dashboards using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar (preferred).
