Senior Client Delivery Managers (CDMs) work in close collaboration with Technical and Project teams to serve customers and provide quality remote and on‑site services and activities tailored to customer needs and complexity. After contract execution, the Senior CDM is the primary SAP ECS contact, assumes end‑to‑end accountability of the engagement, and ensures the delivery and performance of the contracted ECS services.

CDMs act as a trusted advisor, growing business by developing and supporting client relationships, and serve as the voice of the client within SAP.

• Develop a strategic engagement with your client to establish focus on the core services delivered.
• Continuously increase client trust as an advisor to executives and key stakeholders.
• Demonstrate accountability as single orchestrator for end‑to‑end delivery.
• Set up the engagement and manage all delivery lifecycle phases after contract signature.
• Ensure operational excellence on contract administration supported by ECS functions.
• Create and maintain service plans to proactively manage operational risk and ensure customer adherence.
• Identify service improvements and delivery opportunities and realize value for the client.
• Track and report on business growth and upsell throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Expected to spend up to 80% of time onsite at client location.

• 12+ years' experience in SAP Basis and/or infrastructure operation/development.
• 10+ years’ experience in a customer‑facing role.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Strong SAP Basis, technology, and/or functional knowledge.
• Technical infrastructure know‑how and understanding of virtualized system landscapes.
• Ability to translate between technical and non‑technical audiences with confidence.
• Strong engagement management, relationship building and de‑escalation skills.
• Excellent presentation, communication and moderation skills.
• High competency in multi‑tasking and managing multiple engagements in parallel.
• Accustomed to working in a global virtual matrix organization.
• Experience in IT service providers and managing outsourcing engagements.
• Understanding of SAP’s cloud business and hybrid infrastructure operations.
• Knowledge and certifications in SAP IT operations standards (e.g., SAP CCoE, ITIL v4, etc.) beneficial.
• Certification in project management methodology (e.g., PMP) beneficial.

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for this role: 159,800–332,300 USD. The actual offer depends on education, skills, experience, scope of role, location, etc.
