Qorali is hiring an experienced Cloud Engineering leader to oversee automation, infrastructure reliability, and cloud platform operations within a highly regulated environment.
This is a leadership role for someone who combines deep technical expertise with strong people management capability. You’ll lead a high-performing engineering team responsible for modern cloud infrastructure, automation frameworks, and mission-critical platform services supporting enterprise-scale operations.
You will also support internal platform developer programs where part of your responsibilities will be to improve the life of the developer - experience in implementing IDP's would be highly valuable.
Key responsibilities:- Driving infrastructure automation and Infrastructure-as-Code adoption across cloud environments
- Implementing an IDP to improve the life of developers / engineers internally
- Leading cloud platform engineering initiatives across AWS/Azure ecosystems
- Managing Kubernetes, Kafka, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized platforms
- Ensuring platform reliability, scalability, disaster recovery, and operational resilience
- Building automation frameworks, deployment standards, and engineering best practices
- Leading technical delivery, production support, and change management activities
- Partnering with security, compliance, and architecture teams within a regulated setting
- Coaching and developing engineering talent while fostering a high-performance culture
- Strong experience leading cloud infrastructure or platform engineering teams
- Deep technical knowledge across Terraform, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git Hub, and configuration management tooling
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, Dev Ops practices, and automation-first environments
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on technical guidance
- Experience with in financial services, fintech, or other regulated industries is advantageous
- 15% annual bonus
