Amazon Data Services, Inc. (AWS) is looking for a Network Deployment Build Lead to join our growing infrastructure operations team. The role focuses on driving the stability and sustainability of next‑generation networks, automating and scaling deployment processes, and managing capacity across multiple data center locations.

• Manage work and priorities using ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Troubleshoot networking, routing, and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and cords.
• Specify power and cooling requirements and ensure hardware racking/stacking for new equipment.
• Participate in migration, basic configuration, and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
• Support day‑to‑day operations and capacity management across multiple sites.

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds.
• Work in an environment operating 24/7, including primary responder rotation and after‑hours support.
• Work in cramped, elevated or noisy environments.
• Bend, lift, stretch, reach, stand, and walk up to 8+ hours a day.
• Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely.

Travel within and outside the regional work area is required. A reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license are necessary, as company transportation will not be provided.

• 2+ years of computer networking experience.
• Experience working with Linux operating systems.
• Ability to lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds.
• Computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.

• Experience working in cramped or elevated spaces while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Strong customer‑service skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system.
• Knowledge of cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.
• Experience in a data center environment (racking/stacking, cable management, hot/cold aisle containment).

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
