Analytics & Insights Associate

Overview

In this role, you will support the Data & Digital Services team, which provides custom analytics and insights services to Vizient clients. You will conduct analyses and projects under limited supervision to identify actionable strategic insights and enhance decision making, presenting findings and recommendations to leadership and providing guidance in selecting alternative approaches.

• Support the delivery of customized analyses, leveraging internal and external raw and published data, as well as structured and unstructured datasets.
• Leverage an understanding of competitive factors and Vizient differentiators into analysis and synthesize insights.
• Research and incorporate knowledge of best practices into the identification of data sources and analysis of information.
• Lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements to ensure quality and timely project delivery.
• Establish strong working relationships and active communication with key internal and external stakeholders, ranging from analysts to executives, to effectively manage expectations.
• Leverage data to influence stakeholder decisions through advising and counseling.
• Plan and conduct stakeholder meetings to gather requirements and understand current business processes.
• Develop and maintain data sets and coordinate with others on dependencies.

• Relevant degree preferred.
• 2 or more years of relevant experience required.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and SQL required.
• Strong analytical, database, and spreadsheet skills required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Experience with the Clinical Database (CDB), Operational Database (ODB), Procedural Analytics (PA) highly preferred.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau highly preferred.
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and platforms highly preferred.
• Ability to meet rigorous deadlines, balance multiple priorities, and achieve high levels of productivity while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Broad knowledge of Vizient portfolio of products and services preferred.

The current salary range for this role is $68,500.00 to $. This position is also incentive eligible.
