Senior Data Specialist II – Full‑Time, Experienced – eDiscovery Department

• Performs file manipulation, loading, conversion services, database indexing, and quality checks of loads.
• Develops, evaluates, and modifies methodologies and procedures for manipulating files for use with COTS products and litigation support applications.
• Ensures that incoming productions are made pursuant to applicable ESI specifications.
• Performs advanced tasks related to exporting data from contractor and client databases, including identifying data for export, confirming red actions and markups, ensuring compliance with ESI specifications, and quality checking exported data.
• Supports client attorneys, investigators, and paralegals by tracking and processing incoming documents, subpoena returns, and data; creates, loads, and manages document review databases; produces documents to opposing parties; and tracks produced documents. Uses applications such as Everlaw, Relativity, Eclipse, Trial Director, NUIX, LAW, EZManage, Case View, Metadata Assistant, Beyond Compare, eScan‑IT, Case Map, Text Map, Time Map, Camtasia, and others as directed.
• Manages documents and data, including physical documents, a wide range of electronically stored information, discovery images, subpoena returns, PDFs, audio/video files, pictures, forms, email, and others, supporting client attorneys. Uses document review tools listed above.
• Works with Litigation Support Manager to ensure all productions and exports comply with ESI specifications and client requirements; provides detailed notice of deficiencies.
• Coordinates with the client’s Technology Service Center on outsourced litigation support projects.
• Collaborates with Litigation Support Specialist to modify and manipulate files for use with COTS products and litigation support applications.

• Undergraduate degree preferably in computer science or related field.
• Knowledge of litigation discovery process and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) workflow.
• Knowledge of government IT environment, including office automation networks, PC and server‑based applications.
• Working knowledge of personal computers, Windows, document review software, and encryption methods.
• Experience with LAW, IPRO, Relativity or other document processing platforms.
• Familiarity with ICONECT, Relativity, MS Office Suite, and West Live Note valued.
• At least two years’ experience performing eDiscovery roles including electronic file processing, image and data file conversion, data culling, quality assurance, database loads, retrieval, and data analysis.

Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 a year.
