Job DescriptionThe Business Intelligence Analyst will harness data to drive strategic decisions, generate actionable insights, and translate user requirements into technical solutions. Responsibilities include understanding clinical workflows, overseeing data collection and documentation, and bridging the gap between business requests and technical deliverables.
Essential Job Functions- Provide exemplary support to health system stakeholders and product teammates through proactive communication, independent issue resolution, and facilitation of collaboration.
- Gather user requirements from product users through interviews, visioning sessions, and direct observation of user workflows.
- Lead creative problem‑solving efforts related to product and feature strengths, limitations, tradeoffs, costs, and alternative solutions.
- Collaborate with product development teams to ensure clear, transparent communication of requirements, obstacles, and technical solutions.
- Translate user requirements into clear, concise technical language, including informatics details that facilitate custom coding tasks.
- Develop and maintain documentation on scope, workflows, informatics details, and product user requirements.
- Assist in feature testing, end‑user testing, acceptance, and communication of released products and features.
- Adhere to HIPAA and Institutional Review Board regulations, ensuring data release restrictions are maintained.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Nursing, Public Health, Clinical Information Systems, Informatics, IT, or Health Information Management).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in business analysis, healthcare, IT, or data analytics with customer‑facing responsibilities.
- Professional certification in agile methodologies and planning tools (e.g., Jira) is preferred.
- Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining software or other IT solutions.
- Ability to write clear, concise technical memos, report sections, and product‑related documentation.
- Ability to communicate technical requirements, issues, and solutions to a non‑technical audience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Business Intelligence tools (SSRS, Power BI) or equivalent.
- Epic Certification in Cogito or other Epic modules is desired but not required.
Pay Range: $70,720.00 – $ per year.
