The Role
As a Contracts & Negotiation Professional at Kyndryl you will be required to provide sound, and well- reasoned legal, commercial and contract guidance in both English and Spanish to the businesses and other internal functions based upon established policies, guidelines, and professional judgement. You will also participate in or lead significant and complex negotiations of IT services contracts, preparing all required contractual documentation and ensuring compliance with established contracting policies, practices and delegations.
We're seeking a bilingual professional, fluent in English and Spanish with experience working on a variety of contracts.
You will have the ability to develop strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders as well as with Kyndryl's customers and their third-party advisors and counsel, and the ability to communicate effectively and negotiate with all levels (professional to executive) of internal and external clients.
You will also work on international contracts, which will will require interfacing with teams in other countries and ensuring the agreement accurately reflects Kyndryl's capabilities in all countries within scope. The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented, self-motivated, and creative thinking individual with well-developed oral and written communication skills.
Responsibilities include:
* Drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex services agreements
* Assisting with the development of responses to requests for proposals (RFPs)
* Identifying and mitigating legal, technical, and business issues and risks
* Assisting with the resolution of contract related disputes
* Coordinating with other company functions (e.g., Legal, Risk, Tax and Accounting) to ensure compliance with company policies
* Ability to analyze and interprets basic financial data and business concepts and assesses the impact of alternative courses of action

Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree
* 5+ years experience working on complex Contracts & Negotiations, including drafting and interpreting complex contracts and providing advice on legal, contractual, technical and/or business requirements
* Fluent in English and Spanish; experience with contracts in both languages
* Ability to multitask and balance a complex and demanding workload
* Ability to establish and nurture client (internal and external) relationship and to work constructively with other members of a team
* Willingness to travel 10% annually
* Applicant can live anywhere within a 50 mile radius of a major airport.
* Detail oriented, self-motivated, and creative thinking individual with well-developed oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Masters or Juris Doctorate degree
* At least 5 years experience in Information Technology transactional support and/or legal and business interpretation of general services scope and contracts
* 2+ years experience in outsourcing agreements
The compensation range for this position in the US is $120,360 to $228,840 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills, and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately.
