ETL Technical Lead

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

* Strong hands-on experience with Business Objects Data Services (BODS)

* Expertise in ETL architecture, design, development, and optimization

* Strong SQL proficiency with hands-on experience in Oracle and SQL Server

* Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and Data Modeling

* Experience in data integration, migration, and transformation

* Hands-on experience in Unix / Shell scripting

* Strong understanding of data quality, validation, and governance practices

* Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments

Roles & Responsibilities

* Lead end-to-end ETL development initiatives using BODS

* Collaborate independently with business users, product owners, and stakeholders

to understand data requirements and translate them into ETL solutions

* Analyze existing ETL solutions and identify, implement, and optimize code changes

* Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize ETL jobs to ensure data accuracy,

performance, and reliability

* Design and implement efficient data models and transformation logic

* Work extensively with Oracle databases for querying, tuning, and performance optimization

* Develop and maintain Unix scripts to automate ETL operations and batch jobs

* Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards

* Coordinate with data warehouse and downstream application teams to ensure

smooth data integration

* Document ETL designs, technical specifications, and operational procedures.

* Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements to ETL processes.

* Act as a Scrum Master / ETL Lead, ensuring Agile best practices, sprint execution,

and delivery quality.

Salary Range: $110,000 to $125,000 per year
