Work Hours:
8:30 am-5:00 pm, Monday-Friday, evenings and weekends as needed.
Minimum Salary: $99,545.
Responsibilities- Investigative activities to support the organization’s Security Roadmap, ensuring the company stays current with security needs.
- Maintain tool configurations based on findings.
- Conduct regular and detailed review of alternative cyber- security technologies for endpoint, network, cloud, and disaster recovery.
- Respond to cyber- security incidents in real-time, including monitoring and forensic analysis across the toolset.
- Assist in design of security solutions for production systems used on the plant floor.
- Support implementation and maintenance of access control systems.
- Maintain vulnerability and patch management systems.
- Promote secure, ethical, and responsible use of cyber- security technologies through online training, documentation, policies, and classroom sessions.
- Assist with compliance initiatives, risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and security audits.
- Occasional development of custom security- related solutions.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related discipline. - Experience:
3+ years of general business experience evaluating, implementing, and supporting cyber- security systems. - Experience:
2+ years hands- on with the organization’s existing cyber- security toolset (Fortinet, Crowd Strike, Microsoft, Manage Engine, Barracuda). - Knowledge of enterprise- level cyber- security best practices, such as DLP, micro- segmentation, zero- trust, disaster recovery, EDR, data- replication strategies, and least privilege.
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities: capable of performing well in an on- call environment; strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to lead teams and manage investigative and implementation efforts; develop training materials and lead training events; strong systems- thinking and problem- solving; stay current with cyber- security trends; formal project management at the task level; ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently; perform forensics work using Crowd Strike and Fortinet reporting;
customer- service orientation; working knowledge of Power Shell is a plus.
The minimum compensation for the Security Administrator is $99,545, with total compensation determined by experience, education, skills, and internal equity. In addition to competitive compensation, regular full- time employees are eligible for extensive benefits programs available to all employees.
