Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the deployment and delivery of technology projects. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and leadership to drive project execution, manage priorities, and ensure successful delivery of solutions aligned with business objectives.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and proactive, with strong communication, problem‑solving, and leadership skills. This position requires the ability to manage multiple initiatives, communicate effectively across all organizational levels, and support both business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle. This is a hybrid position requiring candidates to be based in the Chicago metropolitan area or Southern Wisconsin, as periodic onsite collaboration with the client in Burlington, Wisconsin will be required.

Core

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end project management activities, including project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define business requirements, project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
  • Manage requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validation processes to capture business and end‑user needs.
  • Develop business process flows and workflow documentation.
  • Identify project dependencies, risks, and constraints, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and trade‑offs to stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to communicate project vision, priorities, and implementation plans.
  • Facilitate estimation, prioritization, and backlog management sessions.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Support organizational change management and user adoption initiatives.
  • Recommend process improvements and operational enhancements to increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Promote architectural standards, governance, and consistency across initiatives.
  • Provide consultative guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
Specialized Responsibilities
  • Work closely with development and technical teams to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into technical solutions.
  • Analyze business processes to identify automation opportunities and assess technical feasibility.
  • Assist in identifying infrastructure and technical requirements needed to deploy automation solutions.
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to support implementation and integration activities.
  • Support issue resolution and remove project roadblocks in a timely manner.

  • Experience assessing project risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Demonstrated leadership, team‑building, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Knowledge of Flow Engineering is a plus.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of Project Management experience.
  • 2+ years of Business Analysis experience.
  • Experience managing technology implementation or automation projects preferred.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is a plus.
