Production Support Engineer

Job Description # Production Support Engineer
* Respond to and resolve business queries for the Market Risk space.
* Manage the user query mailbox, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
* Resolve feed and batch support items, including alert management and monitoring.
* Utilize framework tools such as ITSM, ITRS, JIRA, Dyna Trace, and Splunk for updates and reporting.
* Conduct incident management, providing user notifications and managing escalations.
* Perform documentation and knowledge management tasks.
* Coordinate resolutions with various development teams.
* Assist with metrics reporting and coordinate Business Continuity testing.
* Identify opportunities for automation to reduce manual, repetitive tasks.
* Strong knowledge of SQL and UNIX / LINUX.
* Working knowledge of ITIL, ITRS, Dyna Trace, and Splunk.
* Proficiency with Autosys and Bob jobs.
* Python scripting knowledge.
* Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
* Previous financial industry experience, specifically with Market Risk.
* Familiarity with Agile methodology.
* Operations exposure with Windows OS.
* Working knowledge of Tableau.
