Network Architect

Looking for a Network Architect to lead the design, reliability, security, and lifecycle management of enterprise and operational networks supporting utility-scale renewable energy assets. This role has technical ownership of network architecture, security controls, and network device patching and patch management across corporate IT, cloud, and OT-connected environments.

The Network Architect will act as a technical authority, mentoring junior engineers, partnering closely with Security and OT teams, and ensuring networks meet high availability, cybersecurity, and compliance expectations.

Required Qualifications (Must Haves)

• 7-10+ years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer in enterprise or critical infrastructure environments.
• Expert-level experience with:
  • Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, QoS)
  • Firewalls and network security architecture
  • OT SRA
• Demonstrated ownership of network patching and patch management in production environments.
• Experience supporting hybrid infrastructure (on-prem + cloud).
• Strong understanding of IT/OT connectivity, segmentation, and risk management.
• Proven ability to operate in mission-critical, high-availability networks.
• Strong documentation, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills.
