NW Deployment Build Lead I, NW Deployment

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Network Deployment Build Lead to join its infrastructure operations team. The role focuses on delivering stability, scaling data‑center capacity, and improving network automation.
Key Job Responsibilities- Build first‑level router aggregates and core console network for new rooms.
- Support network scaling projects across multiple data‑center locations.
- Manage work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
- Troubleshoot networking, routing, and interconnectivity issues, including device configuration and application interaction.
- Troubleshoot cabling infrastructure issues—including patch panels and cords.
- Specify power and cooling requirements, and ensure hardware racking/stacking for new equipment.
- Participate in migration, basic configuration, and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
- Move and lift computer equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Travel up to 60% within the geographical work area; additional travel may be required.
- Any physical requirements are accommodated with reasonable accommodations.
- 1+ years of computer networking experience.
- 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience with computer networking and Linux operating systems.
- Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds.
- Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
- Can work in cramped spaces or elevated locations while adhering to health & safety guidelines.
- Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.
- Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system.
- Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.
- Experience working in a data center environment (racking and stacking gear, cable management, hot/cold aisle containment).
