Overview
AWS Global Sales drives adoption of the AWS cloud worldwide, enabling customers of all sizes to innovate and expand in the cloud. The Solutions Architect role will work directly with customers to understand their challenges and design solutions that accelerate their success. The position involves influencing architectural choices across broad use cases and sharing best‑practice knowledge within the AWS solution architect community.
Key ResponsibilitiesOwn technical engagements and execute implementation projects that build mind share and broad use of Amazon Web Services within large enterprises. Coordinate cross‑organizational efforts to facilitate widespread adoption, develop deep expertise in AWS technologies, and represent AWS within customers’ environments to discuss trade‑offs, best practices, and risk mitigation.
Basic Qualifications- 4+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructure.
- 6+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
- 6+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
- Experience in a technical role within a sales organization.
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
