UX Designer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Chicago, IL that is seeking a Senior UX Designer with strong visual, interaction, and systems-level design skills to help shape and improve digital customer experiences across multiple platforms. This role is ideal for a thoughtful, collaborative designer who thrives in complex environments and enjoys delivering high-quality, accessible, and user-centered solutions within a cross-functional product organization.

Key Areas of Focus:

* Create visually compelling, high-quality design solutions that align with established brand and experience standards

* Translate complex requirements into intuitive and engaging customer experiences

* Develop low- and high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes across web, mobile, and platform-based experiences

* Rapidly iterate on designs to support concept validation and stakeholder feedback

* Work closely with UX designers, editors, product managers, researchers, and engineers

* Contribute to a shared design vision and ensure consistency across experiences

* Incorporate insights from user research, usability testing, and analytics

* Design with accessibility and inclusive best practices in mind

* Visualize ideas through sketches, whiteboarding, and digital tools to move concepts quickly from ideation to execution

* Identify user needs and business requirements through research and analysis

* Propose innovative design solutions supported by research, trends, and competitive insights

* Design intuitive, engaging interactions and consistent digital experiences

* Contribute to navigation patterns, components, templates, and emerging design standards

* Create interactive prototypes using an iterative, collaborative process

* Partner with research teams to test designs and translate findings into improvements

REQUIREMENTS:

* 5+ years of professional UX design experience (8+ years preferred)

* Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX thinking and visual craft

* Proficiency with Figma and related design tools

* Solid understanding of UI design, interaction design, and information architecture

* Experience designing accessible, inclusive digital experiences

* Ability to communicate design decisions clearly to varied audiences

* Strong organizational skills and comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
