As an EMSC Web Development Intern, you will be an integral part of our web design and development projects, supporting our experienced team by delivering outstanding websites and online experiences for our clients. This internship will primarily involve website maintenance, updates, and support for existing websites while offering an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in the field of web development.

• Perform Website Updates:
  Ensuring seamless integration with the website’s overall design.
• Implement Technical SEO Edits:
  Work closely with writers, designers, account managers, SEO managers, and our paid advertisement team to apply technical SEO updates and enhancements that improve website performance.
• Conduct QA Audit Fixes:
  Perform thorough QA audits and fix issues to guarantee website functionality and quality.
• Troubleshoot and Resolve Website Issues and Bugs:
  Diagnose and fix website problems, ensuring optimal user experience and bug-free operation.
• Learn and Troubleshoot Word Press:
  Master the ins and outs of Word Press, identifying and fixing bugs in websites.
• Update and Maintain Websites Using HTML, CSS, and JS:
  Ensure a seamless and visually appealing user experience through accurate updates and maintenance.
• Assist in Word Press Updates and Customization:
  Implement Word Press updates and customization via PHP template files and admin panel adjustments.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
  Work closely with design, development, SEO, and advertising teams to ensure that websites align with client objectives.
• Ensure Website Content is Up-to-Date:
  Keep page/post updates, image updates, and content changes current and accurate.
• Stay Updated on Industry Best Practices and Trends:
  Follow emerging trends in web development to maintain and improve website quality.
• Develop Websites with Pixel-Perfect Precision:
  Build websites according to design specifications provided in Figma files, maintaining high accuracy.

• Proficiency in HTML and CSS:
  Solid understanding of HTML and CSS for website updates and design improvements.
• Basic Knowledge of Word Press and PHP:
  Foundational skills in Word Press and PHP for website customization and troubleshooting.
• Strong Attention to Detail and Passion for Web Development:
  Keen eye for maintaining and improving website quality and functionality.
• Good Problem-Solving Skills and Team Collaboration Ability:
  Effective problem-solver who can work cohesively in a team environment.

Ability to discuss education in regards to web development work is required, whether through a bootcamp or college degree. A four year degree is not required.
