Hogsalt is looking for a full time IT Field Technician to join our team!
As the IT Field Technician, you will be providing on-site support by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and networks at our restaurant locations.

Experience &Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of IT experience
- Experience with Unifi and Cisco Meraki Networking is preferred
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle required
- Able to be onsite 5 days a week and available for weekend on call shifts
- Experience with TOAST POS is preferred
- Physically install, mount, and configure workstations, POS terminals, printers, scanners, and peripheral devices.
- Perform on-site cabling work, including running cable when required, labeling cables, patch panels, and network drops.
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network problems
- Provide ongoing IT support and training across various disciplines to all members of the organization
- Provide "night and weekend" emergency on call availability.
- Participate in the overall maintenance of existing software and hardware solutions
- Maintain and coordinate communication with Third Party Integrations
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights for various systems (e.g., Active Directory, cloud services).
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure components (e.g., Wi-Fi access points, switches, firewalls).
- Be comfortable with networking installation and tools as well hands on troubleshooting (pulling cat6 cable, terminating cables, testing for faults, etc)
- Manage and maintain inventory of IT assets, including hardware and software licenses.
- Assist with system upgrades, patches, and deployment projects.
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy policies.
