QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Developing test cases/scenarios based on requirements
• Performing various types of testing such as functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and performance testing
• Collaborating with Technical Program Manager on defining success criteria
• Providing feedback on design, usability, and user experience from a quality assurance perspective
• Understanding continuous integration and delivery pipelines – Gitlab etc.
• Contributing to test automation to streamline testing processes
• Documenting test cases, procedures, and results for future reference

• Communicating clearly and effectively, both written and verbally, when raising defects, providing feedback or suggesting improvements
• Regularly participating in team meetings and other public forums
• Embracing a continuous improvement mindset
• Good attention to details and analytical thinking

• JavaScript test frameworks – e.g. Test Cafe, Cypress and Playwright
• Unix/Linux-like systems
• Version control with git – experience with PR flows and branching flows
• A working knowledge of containers, such as Docker
• Knowledge on AWS S3 and Lambda
• API testing and exploratory testing
• Basic knowledge of databases
• User acceptance testing with clients

Salary: $105,600 – $120,000 a year (Full Salary Range: $105,600/year (minimum), $112,800/year (midpoint), $120,000/year (maximum). Pay is based on relevant experience, skills, education, internal equity, and market data. Well-qualified candidates can generally expect offers around the midpoint. Candidates who meet the minimum qualifications but have more limited directly relevant experience for this specific role are typically placed nearer the minimum, while highly experienced candidates with strong role alignment may be placed closer to the maximum.
