Job Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines.
• Implement data integration, transformation, and quality processes.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries.
• Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of data systems.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers to meet business requirements.
• Participate in performance tuning and database optimization.
• Create and maintain technical documentation of data flows and processes.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through effective monitoring and testing.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for data-related issues.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, helping them develop their skills and grow professionally.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from multiple sources and ensure data quality and consistency.
• Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance to ensure data integrity and privacy

Mandatory/Required

• Experience with MPP Relational Databases such as Synapse.
• Advanced SQL expertise – ability to write complex queries, perform database tuning, and optimize queries.
• Experience with designing and maintaining ETL pipelines and data warehousing.
• Experience in Databricks
  - Delta Live Table design and development
• Familiarity with Azure cloud-based data solutions Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Good to have

• Knowledge of Informatica for ETL processes.
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Exposure to programming languages like Python, Pyspark or Java for data manipulation and automation
• Exposure to data governance and compliance standards.
• Exposure to CI/CD framework
