Technical Security Analyst

Project Overview:
Technical Security Analyst is responsible for working with Application teams to understand the technology used for Application Authentication and understanding the complexity involved in implementing technology. This involves analyzing and interviewing owners of applications across the bank. This is accomplished by people skills and organizational skills.

Contractor’s Role:
Role would also need to ensure that application teams are carrying out the technical work in accordance to the design by technical architects. Analyst would be responsible to ensure success in user acceptance of the design. Socializing the design and helping business understand the technology involved in accessing various applications.

Experience Level: 7 or more years’ experience required

Must Have

Skills:

• Understanding of technology
• Second factor Authentication usage such as Symantec VIP and Microsoft Authenticator
• Word, Excel, Powerpoint, MS Project, Service Now
• Interpersonal skills

Nice to have skills:

• Basic understanding of cloud
• Agile platform experience

Education:

Computer Science Degree preferred, but not mandatory

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Sets up and facilitates all discussions with key stakeholders to develop understanding of current state and to develop the future state process flows
• Makes collaborative effort within the team to resolve complex issues within the projects
• Participates in knowledge transfer of technology, implementation, and operations with various stakeholder groups
• Creates and reviews project documentation deliverables
• Provides a prominent level of knowledge of technology so that as process of operational support is discussed, this resource can lead the conversation.
