Hybrid Role

This is a hybrid role requiring 3‑4 days in the Chicago or San Fran office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Insight Generation & Strategic Analysis
    • Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities and deliver impactful insights.
    • Conduct deep‑dive analyses on banking products, client behavior, and performance trends.
    • Develop executive‑ready presentations that translate data into strategic recommendations.
  • Technical Excellence
    • Use SQL and Python (or similar programming languages) to extract, analyze, and visualize data.
    • Build scalable analytical solutions and automate recurring processes.
    • Collaborate with the Sr. Manager and analytics team to improve data workflows and efficiency.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with product, finance, and strategy teams to align analytics with business priorities.
    • Serve as a thought partner to stakeholders, helping them interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Build reporting dashboards using data extraction, cleaning, and visualization techniques; provide insights, reporting and data visualization techniques; select, configure, and implement analytics solutions for consistency and repeatability.
  • Research continuous improvement in data visualization by identifying trends and patterns, transforming raw data into actionable business insights.
  • Work with different teams, management, and stakeholders to enhance the usability and aesthetic appeal of data analytics solutions deployed in the organization.
  • Translate business needs to technical specifications and evaluate existing data visualization systems to improve them.
  • Develop data visualizations of large amounts of data that facilitate intuitive presentation of data to decision makers.
  • Document data flow, systems and processes to improve the design, implementation, and management of business/group processes.
  • Develop tools and deliver training programs for use of reporting tools and self‑serve analytics by non‑analytical end users; may include delivery of training to audiences.
  • Provide specialized consulting, analytical and technical support.
  • Exercise judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
  • Work independently and regularly handle non‑routine situations.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
  • Take measured risks while protecting the bank by applying the Risk Management Framework in the execution of your role, in line with the Risk Culture and approved Risk Appetite, making sound and risk‑informed decisions that align to business strategy, protect assets and adhere to applicable policy documents, laws and regulations.
Qualifications
  • Experience & Domain Knowledge
    • 5–7 years of experience in analytics, preferably within banking or financial services.
    • Strong understanding of banking products, client segmentation, and business strategy.
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficient in SQL and Python (or other programming languages with a willingness to learn Python).
    • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Communication & Influence
    • Ability to distill complex data into simple, compelling insights.
    • Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions.
  • Mindset
    • Curious, proactive, and impact‑driven.
    • Strong problem‑solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement.

$74,000.00 – $ (Salaried)
